Pillow cases offer a luxurious feeling
Mother of Pearl buttons on the pillow cases and duvet covers not only ensures that there is no spillage as you could run into with an envelope pillow case but also looks great in your bed
The duvet will stay in the right place
Hidden ties in each corner ensures that your duvet stays in place and don’t end up in ball in the corner (preferably your duvet should have ties or loops as well, but you can make it work either way)
Guiding labels on the fitted sheet makes making the bed is a breeze
Labels on the short ends of your sheet makes making the bed a lot easier as you’ll now know what is up and down.
For all too long, we’ve had to make do with ‘Made In’ labels, providing little to no information on the actual origin and manufacturing conditions of the bed sheets we sleep in. We are following in the footsteps of our friends at asket.com by attempting to provide Full Traceability – a new transparency standard for every garment, breaking it down to its raw components and tracing them back to their origin. This is not always easy but we are in constant dialogue with out manufacturing partner to further detail our knowledge of every part of every value chain. Here is an example:
Design: Pattern making and product development in Sweden. Production: Cut, stitched, trimmed, washed and packed in Israel. Fabric: 100% Supima cotton farmed CA/AZ, USA. Yarn spun twisted and woven in India. Yarn dyed and finished in Israel. Buttons: Mother of Pearl collected from Australia. Buttons produced in China. Stitching thread: 100% polyester produced in China. Woven labels: 100% polyester, spun, woven and finished in Turkey. Polyester labels: 100% polyester spun and woven in China. Printed in Israel.
Gossypium Barbadense (e.g. parts of Egyptian Cotton and parts of Pima Cotton) is considered the finest cotton on earth, in part for its Extra-Long Staples (Fibers) making it softer and more durable. We have chosen to make all our sheets with Supima Cotton (derived from Superior Pima cotton), which is grown in the United States. Supima Cotton farmers ensure that they are growing the best quality cotton in the world with as little impact on the environment as possible by using the latest technology available.
The sheen and softer feel of sateen is produced through the sateen weave structure. Standard plain weaves use a one under, one over structure where as when making a sateen weave, warp yarns are floated over a number of weft yarns. In our sheets, three weft yarns. The long floats produce a surface that is smooth to the touch and reduces light scattering to increase shine. This creates a truly magnificent and luxurious feeling which you will enjoy every night when you go to bed, and every morning you wake up.
