Christmas is just around the corner, and it is time to get that cozy Christmas feeling at home. I want to share with you my top five tips to get that stylish, harmonious, and luxurious Christmas feeling in your bedroom. I am warning for intense cravings for Christmas Eve!
There is something special about Christmas flowers and something we do not want to be without. My favorites are hyacinth and amaryllis, not only because of their lovely scent but also because they are decorating our homes so stylish and beautiful. Put, for example, amaryllis on your bedside table to get that Christmas fragrance in your bedroom.
A scented candle is a perfect complement to your Christmassy flowers. Christmas candles, with wood aromas, will add warmth to your bedroom. A personal favorite brand is Byredo. Have a look at their website to see if it something for you as well. I think Biblioteqhue works wonders all year long.
You don’t need to go and buy all kinds of Christmas decorations. Sometimes it is enough to add some small details in your home to get that holiday spirit. Maybe just a red band around your amaryllis och one little elf in the window.
It is incredible what music can do to get you in that lovely winter and holiday mood! I can’t hear “So this is Christmas” too many times. Here is a spotify playlist that I created and really like, it mixes Christmas songs with some other songs creating a really nice harmony.
Last but not least, I want to give you a simple, cheap, and easy tip. Make your bed in the morning. This simple task will make your home more welcoming when coming home from a long day.
Before bedtime, light up your Christmas candle, take a sniff on your amaryllis and move your hips to “So this is Christmas” and I promise you, you will look forward to going to bed a little bit earlier that night with a great book and cuddle into that soft bed.
